2015- VP R&D - Optical Imaging, Rehovot, Israel
Optical Imaging, Ltd. revenue stage medical device company focused on clinical markets. In my current position at Optical Imaging I am managing the research and development of the new Retinal Function Imager (RFI). A diagnostic equipment that provides new early diagnostics capabilities with unprecedented insights into ophthalmic and neurologist diseases. The RFI is an integrated hardware and software system, providing a unique non-invasive, ophthalmic functional imaging system with novel capabilities for “seeing the invisible”. I am managing full multidisciplinary R&D team involves Optics, System, Electrical, Mechanical and Integration engineering. The technology that I am developing in Optical Imaging is cutting edge and holds the potential of great breakthroughs in the world of diagnostic capabilities.
2013-2015 New Products Development Group Manager – Covidien, Jerusalem, Israel
Covidien is a $10 billion global healthcare products leader dedicated to innovation and long-term growth. Covidien creates innovative medical solutions for better patient outcomes and delivers value through clinical leadership and excellence. In my role, I am responsible for leading the New Products development group in R&D Jerusalem, Israel. This includes overseeing the creation, development, qualification and release of new products into the market. In partnership with the Technology Development, PMO, Sales, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Legal functions to develop the product strategy that meets Covidien business objectives. 2010-2013 R&D Director - Nouvoyance Israel Ltd, Hod Hasharon, Israel
Nouvoyance is an independent development company that has developed PenTile® technology, in partnership with Samsung Electronics, for flat-panel display manufacturers to improve the brightness, resolution, contrast, and power consumption of flat-panel displays. As part of my duty at NVI, I was managing the company's research and development efforts in cooperation with SEC. My responsibilities included:

Simultaneously managing 3 projects

Managing a joint project between Samsung Electronics, LCD division and Nouvoyance California team

Managing the development of a spatial and temporal image processing algorithms for the next generation tablets and TVs LCD panels.

2009-2010 VP R&D - Neocom Development Israel Ltd, Rehovot, Israel.
Neocom Ltd. is a start-up that has developed the double-sided monitor which is based on two LCD panel that mount as back to back LCD monitors. My responsibilities included the following technical and managerial aspects of the product:

Analyzing and designing the system architecture of the product.

Managing the Chinese sub-contractors in all mechanical and electrical design tasks.

Managing a software team that designed the dual monitor software.

2002-2009 Hardware group manager - Genoa Color Technologies, Herzlia, Israel.
Genoa Color developed technologies for enhancing color appearance in digital displays, such as LCD-TV sets and projectors. During my work at Genoa, I was involved with the following activities:

Hardware development – I was responsible for all of Genoa’s hardware development activities

ASIC – involved with the development and production of Genoa’s Keshet™ chip.

Project management – During the last four years, I was managing all the development efforts, and had significant experience working with large Japanese, European and US companies.

Presale – I was involved with all presale technical advisory, product definition, specification, and system architecture and product documentation.

People management – I managed the hardware development team and was in charge of all R&D SC.

IP and patents – I have several patent applications, single and co-inventor of another five applications.

Responsible for the development of the ColorPeak™ multi-primary display technology, which was awarded the 2004 “Best of the Year” technology in the consumer market by “Popular Science”.
2001-2002 Project manager Alvarion, Wireless Communications, Kiryat Atidim, Israel.
Test Automation project manager. Work at Alvarion included specification designing, hardware design and implementation, algorithmic research, simulations and software design – which required high team leadership and project management skills.
Senior Integration engineer. During this period I evaluated system performance in different scenarios by ETSI compliance. I also performed multiple RF tests using high performance measurement equipment such as traffic analyzers, high frequency generators and spectrum analyzers.
2000–2001 HW design engineer, Floware, Wireless Communication, Or-Yehuda, Israel.
Hardware board designer. During that period I developed a digital data acquisition board. This board gathered data from the WalkAir™ modem to a common PC parallel port. The high speed board was based on Altera’s Flex family and high speed SRAM.
FPGA designer. Worked on synchronous tracking systems. The design included FIFOs and implementation of external bus protocol. This project was done on ModelSim software.
Labview (National Instrument) programming. I designed an infrastructure for extensive RF testing environment. I designed MMI / GUI software for communication with high speed measurement equipment.
1995 Hardware design engineer , Starcom LTd., Military applications, Tel Aviv, Israel.
Hardware board and embedded designer. During my army service, I was sent to Starcom Ltd. to be a member of the development team for the new computer of the test field radar. I was involved with development of an IF video sampler. This project included implementation of analog circuits (Amplifiers, Filters, and S&H) and digital circuit based on Intel 80196 µ.C. combined with an internal analog to digital converter. This project also implemented a real time communication protocol between the video sampler and the radar’s computer.
1992-1997 Radar Operator and R&D engineer, Missiles test field, Israel Air Force.
Tracking Radar technician. I served as a senior radar operator at the missiles test field of the Israeli air force. During that time, I was involved with development of microcontroller based digital circuits and real-time programming. The development environment was based on tools such as ORCAD, PSPICE and MAX II.
